The impact of quality of life measures from views of the villagers with structural equation modeling approach ( case study: the Humeh shomali district, Eslamabad Gharb county)

Abstract
The quality of life in rural areas is very important in terms of their sustainability and non-migration, and its measuring can be as valuable as possible in terms of the program. This is of great importance in areas with large numbers of villages, large populations and often engaged in agricultural and livestock activities, including the villages of Eslamabad Gharb. The purpose of this study is the effect of economic, social, physical and environmental indicators on quality of life from the perspective of villagers with a structural equation modeling approach. The current research is applied research in terms of purpose, quantitative in nature and descriptive in terms of analysis method. The statistical population of the study consists of 1171 heads of households in selected villages of the northern suburbs in Eslamabad Gharb city in 2019. Using Cochran's formula, 289 people were selected. The type of sampling is stratified by proportional assignment. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire that the formal and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed with the corrective opinion of university professors and experts and after making the necessary corrections in several stages. The total reliability of the questionnaire is 0.886. The results showed that the measured validity of all four measurement models on quality of life and also the second-order five-factor model for assessing quality of life is acceptable. Finally, the economic index of 0.93, the environmental index of 0.97, the physical index of 0.99 and the social index with the least effect of 0.23 had an effect on quality of life. It is suggested that in order to improve the quality of life, social indicators should be paid more attention to improve the final outcome of quality of life.
