The statistical population includes the rural girls of this county (N=31520), and a multistage sample of rural youth is selected (n=378).The findings show that the rural girls perceive the rural life to be culturally and socially desirable while undesirable economically. There are two different viewpoints regarding the rural concept. In the first viewpoint, the village environment is pleasant and welcoming; and in the second, living in the village can be of hardness and disgust. There is a significant relationship between 'the perception of rural life' and 'the attitude toward agriculture as an occupation'. A person who has a good definition of village and rural life shows a tendency to work in agriculture and one who likes agriculture is also interested in the rural life.   پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی مفهوم روستا و زندگی روستایی از دیدگاه دختران روستایی شهرستان کرمانشاه انجام شد. جامعه آماری را 31520 تن از دختران ساکن روستاهای این شهرستان تشکیل می­دادند که 378 نفر از آنها، با استفاده از روش نمونه­گیری چندمرحله­ای، به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. بر اساس یافته­ها، پاسخ­گویان روستا را از نظر فرهنگی و اجتماعی، مکانی مطلوب ولی از جنبه اقتصادی، نامطلوب می­دانستند. آنها دو برداشت متفاوت از مفهوم روستا داشتند؛ در برداشت اول، روستا محیطی خوشایند و در برداشت دوم، زندگی در روستا توأم با سختی بود. نگرش نسبت به شغل کشاورزی نیز بر تصور دختران از مفهوم روستا تأثیرگذار بود. جوانی که تعریفی خوب از روستا و زندگی روستایی دارد، به شغل کشاورزی نیز گرایش دارد؛ و کسی که کشاورزی را دوست دارد، به زندگی در روستا نیز علاقه­مند است.     http://rvt.agri-peri.ac.ir/article_59372_d6e5f33e5a94d935fe0f15dc0cf4a1e5.pdf
