The results from factor analysis showed that factors resulting in sustainable rural development could explain 73% of the variance in rural development; also, sustainable agricultural indices could explain 68% of the variance. Results of regression analysis indicated that there was a significant relationship between sustainable agriculture and rural development; in addition, the correlation between the eight factors of sustainable agriculture and rural development was considered as a direct moderate one.
